Travelogue

  • Efficient and relaxed dual online in the core area of the old city district

This time, I came to Yuexiu, Guangzhou to connect with cultural and creative projects. After comparing multiple business hotels along Yanjiang Road, I finally chose Atour S Hotel Guangzhou Beijing Road Tianzi Wharf and stayed for four consecutive days to connect and hold a small seminar. The whole process was smooth and worry free, fully meeting all the core needs of business travel.
I walked a few hundred meters from Beijing Road Station on Line 6 to the hotel. Dragging a suitcase filled with project brochures, I didn't have to take any detours. As soon as I entered, the front desk took the initiative to guide me to the business priority channel, and I completed the check-in procedures in less than three minutes. Upon learning that I was going to the office building on Yanjiang Middle Road the next morning to attend the conference, the staff specially arranged for me to stay away from the elevator in a high-rise river view room. They also gave me a note indicating the morning rush hour route to avoid congestion, and even clearly marked the locations of nearby American style ice cream shops, avoiding the crowded sections of Beijing Road and saving me a lot of time on strategy making.
The design of the guest room is completely in line with the usage habits of business travel. The space is spacious and transparent, with a dedicated independent office area and a spacious desktop that can simultaneously display all the cultural and creative project plans and cooperation contracts I have brought. Multiple fast charging interfaces are reserved around the desktop, and laptops, drawing boards, and power banks can be powered simultaneously without having to look for power strips everywhere. Yaduo's iconic Plant mattress provides just the right amount of support, allowing you to stay up late and organize project proposals without feeling back pain. The sound insulation in the room is particularly solid, even if it's the bustling Beijing Road commercial district downstairs. After closing the door, you can't hear any outside noise at all, and you can sleep soundly even when you're busy in the early morning.
The hotel's supporting facilities cater to all travel needs. The 24-hour Zhuju Book Bar not only has a quiet reading area, but also reserves several workstations suitable for temporary office use. When I needed to modify my PPT, I stayed here for two hours without any disturbance. The business center can handle fax and binding materials at any time. I need to print dozens of project manuals for conference use at the last minute, and the staff helped me organize and bind them in less than ten minutes. The small negotiation area next to the book bar has an elegant environment. I have arranged with my partner to hold a small matchmaking meeting here. There is no need to find an external venue. The quiet and private space is especially suitable for talking about details. At the intermission, the staff had prepared freshly ground coffee and Cantonese Dim sum in advance, and the meeting was smooth and decent.
The most surprising thing is its geographical location. You can walk ten minutes to the Tianzi Wharf, and it only takes four stops to see customers in the Pearl River New City by subway, so you don't have to waste time in traffic jams. After a busy day's work, I took five minutes to take a walk near the the Pearl River in the evening. I watched the lights on both sides of the river blow, and the tension of talking about the project for several days soon dissipated. The breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a wide range of categories. The Cantonese Wonton noodles and shrimp dumplings are all ready to serve. You can eat a bowl of hot food before going out in the morning, and you are full of energy to run the project in the morning.
Atour S Hotel Guangzhou Beijing Road Tianzi Wharf does not have redundant fancy configurations, but it fully understands the detailed needs of business travelers. With appropriate service and excellent location, it provides a foothold for business travelers to balance efficiency and relaxation. Next time I come to Yuexiu for project docking, this will definitely be my first choice.Show more

  • I have included the fireworks and river scenery of old Guangzhou in my itinerary

This time I came to visit the old city of Guangzhou and chose Atour S Hotel Guangzhou Beijing Road Tianzi Wharf as my destination. It was originally intended to be close to the dock of the Pearl River Night Tour. Unexpectedly, staying for three days in a row became the most convenient and unexpected result of my trip to Guangzhou.
The hotel is a few hundred meters away from the Beijing Road station of Line 6. It is unnecessary to make a detour when dragging a suitcase full of letters. The symbolic warm atmosphere of Yaduo enveloped the door as soon as I entered. The local lady in Guangzhou at the front desk smiles and greets me. It is said that I came to Beijing Road for the first time. I specially arranged a high floor Jiangjingfang for me, and also gave me a handwritten map of local shopping. Even the Wonton noodles store hidden in the alley for decades and the time-honored sugar shop without queuing up are clearly marked, saving me a lot of time for blind detours.
As soon as I pushed open the door, I felt like I had made the right choice. The space was spacious and transparent, and the warm lighting design throughout the house was soft and not glaring. The large desk by the window was just right to spread out my Guangzhou travel guide. The desktop had a reserved fast charging interface, and my phone, camera, and power bank could all be powered at the same time without having to look for power strips everywhere. The most surprising thing was that the french window was facing the the Pearl River. In the evening, the curtain was opened, and the setting sun dyed the river warm gold. The Liede Bridge in the distance lit up. The river wind blew in along the half open window, and even the air was filled with the moist smell of the Pearl River.
The most enjoyable thing about living here is its location. It takes only three minutes to walk downstairs to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, where you can easily find beef offal, bowl cakes, and roasted meat shops under the arcade. There's no need to squeeze on the subway and travel long distances to find food. You can walk five minutes to Tianzi Pier. If you want to take the the Pearl River Night Tour, you don't need to leave long in advance. You can walk slowly past just in time for boarding. Strolling until late at night and wanting to return to the hotel, walking along the riverbank for more than ten minutes, blowing the river breeze and looking at the lights on both sides, even the exhaustion of a whole day of strolling has dissipated.
The most striking thing is Ado's familiar attention to detail. There are many books about the history of old Guangzhou in the 24-hour open Zhuju Book Bar. When I get tired of browsing, I come back and sit for a while, flipping through a few pages of the book and the whole person becomes quiet. Once, while strolling through an old alley, I accidentally left my Guangzhou tourist attraction pass outside. With a try it out attitude, I called the front desk, and the staff not only contacted nearby shops to inquire, but also arranged for free printing services and printed a new tourist attraction reservation code for me. Ado's Plant mattress has just the right softness and hardness. As someone who knows beds, I can sleep by touching the pillow. The sound insulation in the room is particularly solid, and when I close the door, I can't hear the noise of the pedestrian street at all. I slept soundly until dawn.
In the three days' trip, I didn't catch any online celebrity clock in, so I walked under the arcade on Beijing Road, blew the evening wind near the the Pearl River, and ate a bowl of hot Wonton noodles. Atour S Hotel Guangzhou Beijing Road Tianzi Wharf did not rely on the river view to create a premium, but blended the fireworks atmosphere of old Guangzhou with the usual comfort of Ato. Next time I come to Guangzhou to explore the old city area, I will definitely book here as soon as possible.Show more
